Garfield and Friends is an animated television show that is based on the comic strip Garfield. The show aired on CBS from 1988 to 1995 on Saturday mornings. In addition to Garfield cartoons, it also features cartoons based on U.S. Acres, another comic strip created by Jim Davis.

Characters

  • Garfield: A very fat, lazy, orange-skinned, cat. He loves eating, sleeping, and watching television.
  • Jon: Garfield and Odie's nerdy owner. He is very loyal to them. He goes on dates and later gets dumped by girls.
  • Odie: A yellow-skinned dog. He is very dumb and easily annoys Garfield.
  • Nermal: A cute, gray-skinned cat. He (possibly she) annoys Garfield more than anybody.
