Garysburg is a town in Northampton County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 1,057 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina Micropolitan Statistical Area.
History
Garysburg is named for Roderick B. Gary.
The Garysburg United Methodist Church and Cemetery and Mason-Hardee-Capel House are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1848, Garysburg was a stop on the Petersburg Railroad.
