Gaur Gopal Das, born on December 24, 1973, is an Indian monk. He is also a popular motivational speaker. Before becoming a monk, he worked as an electrical engineer. He is a member of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).

Early Life and Education
Gaur Gopal Das grew up in a middle-class family in Vambori, a town in the Ahmadnagar district of Maharashtra, India. His family followed the Jain religion. He studied electrical engineering. He earned a diploma from Cusrow Wadia Institute of Technology in Pune. Later, he received a degree from the College of Engineering, Pune.
Career as a Monk and Speaker
After finishing his engineering studies, Gaur Gopal Das worked briefly as an electrical engineer at Hewlett Packard. In 1996, he decided to leave his job. He chose to become a monk and joined ISKCON. There, he was given the name "Gaur Gopal Das."
He has been a monk for over 28 years. During this time, he studied ancient philosophy and modern psychology. This knowledge helped him become a life coach. He helps people find balance and purpose in their lives.
Speaking Engagements and Global Reach
After his education at ISKCON, Gaur Gopal Das began sharing his wisdom. He has been invited to speak at many universities and companies. He has given talks in India and other countries. He even spoke at the United Nations once. He also spoke three times at the British Parliament.
He often speaks at charity events. These events raise money for good causes. The funds help social projects, especially in education and rural development.
Published Books and Social Media Presence
In 2018, Gaur Gopal Das published his first book. It is called Life's Amazing Secrets. This book shares his insights on finding happiness. He also received an honorary doctorate from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in 2018.
