Gennadi Aleksandrovich Gusarov (born March 11, 1937 – died June 2, 2014) was a talented Soviet football player. He was born in Moscow, which was then part of the Soviet Union. Gusarov was known for playing as a forward or a midfielder.

He played for some of the biggest clubs in the Soviet Union. He also proudly represented his country, the Soviet Union national team, in major international tournaments.

Early Life and Club Career

Gennadi Gusarov started his football journey in Moscow. He played for youth teams like CSKA Moscow and FShM Moscow. These experiences helped him become a skilled player.

Playing for Torpedo Moscow

Gusarov began his professional career in 1957. He joined FC Torpedo Moscow, a very strong team at the time. He played for Torpedo Moscow until 1962. During his time there, he played in 123 games and scored 68 goals. This made him a key player for the team.

Moving to Dynamo Moscow

In 1963, Gusarov moved to another famous club, FC Dynamo Moscow. He played for Dynamo Moscow for six years, until 1968. For this club, he appeared in 125 matches and scored 25 goals.

Later Career

After his time at Dynamo Moscow, Gusarov played for FC Dynamo Barnaul. He continued to show his skills on the field. Overall, he played in 323 club games and scored 108 goals in his career.
