George Lambert (born 16 December 1819 – died 10 February 1860) was a brave soldier from Ireland. He was born in Markethill, County Armagh. George Lambert received the Victoria Cross (VC). This is the highest award for bravery a soldier can get in the British and Commonwealth forces.

George Lambert was a soldier in the British Army. He served in the 84th Regiment of Foot. This unit was later known as the 2nd Battalion, York and Lancaster Regiment. He held the rank of Sergeant-Major. This was a very important role in the army.
