Early Life and Wrestling
George Tahdooahnippah is a member of the Comanche Nation. He also has family ties to the Choctaw Nation.
When he was younger, George was a talented wrestler. He earned the honor of being a Cadet Greco-Roman All-American. This means he was one of the top wrestlers in the United States, placing 7th. He also represented his home state, Oklahoma, as an "Oklahoma All Star." He even traveled to Japan for wrestling. Because of his wrestling skills, he received a full scholarship to Delaware State University.
Starting in Kickboxing
When George was 23 years old, he decided to try amateur kickboxing. He quickly became successful. He won the North Texas light heavyweight title. He also placed second in the 2002 "Sansho-Kickboxing World Championships." George also took part in the Original Toughman competition. In this event, he won the light heavyweight championship.
Becoming a Professional Boxer
George did not start his professional boxing career until he was 25. He began working with a manager named Bobby Dobbs. He also trained with famous boxing coaches like Shadeed Suluki and David Vaughn. Today, he trains at the Mad Man Boxing Gym in Elgin, OK.
