Becoming a Model
Georgina Grenville started her journey into modeling at a young age. When she was just 14, she won the first round of a big competition. This was the South African 1990 Elite 'Look of the Year' contest.
After this win, she briefly worked as a model in Milan, Italy. Milan is one of the world's fashion capitals. Soon after, she moved to New York City, another major fashion hub. There, she signed with a well-known modeling agency called Next.
Working with Top Brands
Georgina became one of the first models to work closely with the designer Tom Ford for the brand Gucci. She was a key part of their famous fashion campaigns, especially for their autumn/winter collection in 1996/97.
