Gerald was a small place in Dale County, Alabama, in the United States. It was not officially a town or city. In 1965, Gerald became part of a new town called Level Plains, Alabama.
History of Gerald
Gerald had its own post office for a short time. This post office was open from 1898 to 1901. Gerald was also a stop for trains on the Alabama Midland Railway. Trains traveling between Newton and Enterprise would briefly stop there.
