Gerald Brown was born on September 4, 1959. He is a well-known American football coach. He worked as the running backs coach for the Atlanta Falcons from 2008 to 2014. Currently, he is an analyst for the University of Tennessee.

Coaching the Atlanta Falcons

During his time with the Atlanta Falcons, Coach Brown helped the team a lot. He coached two players who were chosen for the Pro Bowl. These players were Michael Turner and Ovie Mughelli. The Pro Bowl is a special game where the best players from the NFL play against each other.

Falcons' Success

With Coach Brown on the team, the Falcons had many successful seasons. They won the NFC South Championship twice, in 2010 and 2012. The team also had five winning seasons in a row.
