Early Life and Education

Gesine Bullock-Prado was born in Washington, D.C.. Her father, John Wilson Bullock, worked for the U.S. Army and taught people how to use their voices. Her mother, Helga Mathilde Meyer, was a German opera singer. She performed in famous places like the Salzburg Festival.

Gesine went to the University of Virginia and Southwestern Law School. She studied hard and became a licensed lawyer in 1997.

Career in Film

In 1995, Gesine joined the film company Fortis Films. Her sister, the famous actress Sandra Bullock, was also part of this company. Gesine worked as the company's lawyer and president.

She helped produce several movies, including Gun Shy and Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous. She also helped develop many other films like Practical Magic and Miss Congeniality. She even worked on the TV series The George Lopez Show.

Switch to Baking

In 2004, Gesine decided to leave the film world. She moved to Vermont to follow her passion for baking. From 2005 to 2008, she owned her own bakery called Gesine Confectionary in Montpelier.
