Giacomo Nizzolo (born January 30, 1989) is a professional Italian racing cyclist. He is known as a strong sprinter. Giacomo currently rides for the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team team. He has won many important races throughout his career.

Giacomo Nizzolo's Cycling Journey
Starting with Leopard Trek (2011–2018)
Giacomo Nizzolo began his professional cycling career in 2011. His first big win at the top level of cycling came in August 2012. This was during Stage 5 of the Eneco Tour. He started his sprint very early, about 300 meters from the finish line. It was a very close race, and he won by just a tiny bit!
He showed his skill in the Giro d'Italia, a famous cycling race. He won the Points Classification, also known as the "cyclamen jersey," two years in a row. This happened in the 2015 and 2016 races. This is a special award for the best sprinter in the race. Even though he won the points jersey, he didn't win an individual stage in those years.
In 2018, Giacomo took part in the Vuelta a España. This is another one of the three biggest cycling races in the world. He finished in the top three on three different stages.
Moving to Dimension Data (2019–2021)
In 2019, Nizzolo joined a new team called Dimension Data. This was his first time changing teams as a professional. In July 2019, he was chosen to race in the Tour de France. This is one of the most famous cycling events.
The year 2020 was very successful for Giacomo. He won two major titles. First, he became the Italian National Road Race Champion. This means he was the best road cyclist in Italy that year. Soon after, he won the road race at the UEC European Road Championships. He won both of these races with powerful sprints.
In 2021, Giacomo finally achieved a big goal. He won his first ever stage in a Grand Tour race. This happened on Stage 13 of the 2021 Giro d'Italia. He had finished second in Giro stages eleven times before, so this win was very special for him. He beat another strong rider, Edoardo Affini, right at the finish line in Verona.
Joining Israel Start-Up Nation (2022–2023)
After his time with Dimension Data, Giacomo Nizzolo joined the Israel Start-Up Nation team for the 2022 season. He continued to compete in major races with his new team.
Current Team: Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team (2024–Present)
Since 2024, Giacomo Nizzolo has been riding for the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team. He continues to be a strong competitor in sprints. In 2024, he won Stage 4 of the Sibiu Cycling Tour.
