Gian Carlo Vacchelli Corbetto (born December 16, 1981 – died August 12, 2020) was a famous Peruvian sports commentator. He was also a politician who belonged to a group called Fujimorism. People often called him El Angelito, which means "the little angel".
Gian Carlo hosted a sports TV show called El ángel del deporte from 2008 to 2009. He worked on RBC Televisión. Later, he became a member of the Peruvian Congress. He represented the area of Lima.
He was elected in 2011 and served until 2016. During his time in Congress, he worked hard for sports. He also helped people with disabilities. He proposed many new laws, and 49 of them were approved.
About Gian Carlo Vacchelli's Life
Gian Carlo Vacchelli had a condition called osteogenesis imperfecta. This condition makes bones very fragile and easy to break. Because of this, he used a wheelchair to move around.
In May 2015, he married Evelyn Osorio. He also had a younger brother named "Upa". Gian Carlo Vacchelli passed away on August 12, 2020, when he was 38 years old.
