Gilbert Lake is a pretty small lake found in Otsego County, New York. It's located just northwest of a village called Laurens. What's cool is that the lake is right inside Gilbert Lake State Park, making it a great spot for outdoor adventures!
A stream called Lake Brook flows right through Gilbert Lake. After leaving the lake, Lake Brook travels southeast until it joins up with Otego Creek. Another nearby lake, Lake of the Twin Fawns, also sends its water south through Lake Brook into Gilbert Lake.
