Gilshochill railway station is a train station in Glasgow, Scotland. It serves the areas of Gilshochill, Maryhill, and Cadder. The station is on the Maryhill Line, about 5 kilometers (3 miles) northwest of Glasgow Queen Street station.
ScotRail operates the train services at Gilshochill. The station first opened in December 1993. Back then, it was called Lambhill. It was renamed Gilshochill on May 24, 1998.
Train Services
Trains run regularly from Gilshochill station. From Monday to Saturday, a train leaves every 30 minutes. These trains go eastbound towards Glasgow Queen Street. They also go westbound towards Anniesland.
On Sundays, there is a limited service. Trains run hourly between 9:30 AM and 7:00 PM. This Sunday service started on May 18, 2014.
