Ginella Massa, born on January 29, 1987, is a Canadian journalist who works on television. She is known for being the first television reporter in Canada to wear a hijab while on air. This happened in 2015. She also became the first news anchor to wear a hijab when she hosted the 11 p.m. news for CityNews in Toronto, Ontario, on November 17, 2016.

Ginella Massa studied at York University and Seneca College. She started working in news in 2010. She has worked both behind the cameras and on air. Hosting Canada Tonight

In 2020, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) announced that Massa would join their team. She became the host of a show called Canada Tonight on CBC News Network. She also worked as a special correspondent for The National.
