His Work as a Professor

Besides being a lawyer, Giorgio Bernini was also a university professor. He taught law at different universities. From 1964 to 1966, he taught in Ferrara. Then, from 1966 to 1970, he taught in Padua. He also taught at universities in other countries, sharing his knowledge with students around the world.

Giorgio Bernini often worked with the United Nations (UN). The UN is an organization where countries work together to solve global problems. He was part of a special group called the Commission for International Trade Law from 1969 to 1972. This group helped create rules for how countries trade with each other.

Later, from 1986 to 1994, he was involved with a non-governmental organization (NGO) linked to the UN. NGOs are groups that work independently from governments to help with different issues. He even became the honorary president of this group.
