Giuliano Giannichedda (born 21 September 1974) is an Italian football manager. He used to be a professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder.
He played in 281 Serie A games over twelve seasons. He mainly played for Udinese and Lazio. He scored three goals in these games.

Playing Career Highlights
Starting with Sora
Giuliano Giannichedda was born in Pontecorvo, Italy. He began his senior football career with a team called Sora. This team was in the fourth division of Italian football. After three years, his team moved up to the third level.
Time with Udinese
In 1995, Giannichedda joined Udinese, a team in the top Italian league, Serie A. He played about 30 league games each season during his last four years there. In 2000, he helped Udinese win the UEFA Intertoto Cup. This was an important European club competition.
Playing for Lazio
Giannichedda then moved to Lazio for the 2001–02 season. He was a regular starter for the team for four years. During his time at Lazio, he helped them win the Coppa Italia in 2004. The Coppa Italia is Italy's main domestic cup competition.
Joining Juventus
In 2005, Giannichedda joined Juventus, another big Italian club. He did not play as much as he used to at Juventus. He often came on as a substitute. In his first year, he played 24 games. The team won the league title that year. However, Juventus later had some problems and lost their title. They were also moved down to a lower league.

Senior National Team
Giannichedda played three games for the Italian national team in 1999. His first game was on March 31, 1999. Italy played against Belarus and the game ended in a 1–1 draw. This was part of the qualifying games for the UEFA Euro 2000 tournament.

Before playing for the senior team, Giannichedda also played for the Italian under-23 team. He played in the 1997 Mediterranean Games in Italy. His team won the gold medal at this event.

Coaching Club Teams
In July 2016, Giannichedda became the manager for Racing Roma. However, he left the club suddenly in April 2017. The club said he wanted to stop coaching and just disappeared.
In July 2018, he became the head coach of Pro Piacenza, a team in Serie C. But he was fired in November 2018 because the team was not doing well.
In May 2019, Giannichedda was named manager of Aprilia, a Serie D club. But he left the club after only one month.

In July 2019, he started coaching the Italian amateur representative teams. He now coaches the Under-19 and Under-18 levels for the Lega Nazionale Dilettanti.
