Glenferrie railway station is a busy train station in Hawthorn, a suburb in eastern Melbourne, Australia. It's a stop for trains on the Lilydale, Belgrave, and Alamein lines.
The station first opened its doors on April 3, 1882. It was originally called Glenferrie Road, but its name was changed to Glenferrie later that same year. In 1996, it became a "Premium station," which means it has extra facilities and staff to help passengers. The station buildings are also very special because they are listed on the Victorian Heritage Register, which protects important historical places.
