Glenrock, also sometimes called Glen Rock, is a small community in Nemaha County, Nebraska, in the United States. It is an unincorporated community, which means it's a place where people live, but it doesn't have its own official local government like a city or town.
Glenrock's Past
Glenrock has a history that goes back to the 1800s. A special building called a post office was opened here in 1859. A post office is where people send and receive mail.
This post office served the community for many years. However, it eventually closed down in 1929. The name "Glenrock" comes from the natural rock quarries that were found nearby. Quarries are places where stone is dug out of the ground.
