Gnangara is a suburb in Perth, Western Australia. It is part of the City of Wanneroo. The name "Gnangara" comes from an Aboriginal word, Knangara.

Gnangara is also the name of a special underground water source called the Gnangara Mound. This mound has a large surface feature, Lake Gnangara, which covers about 117 hectares. The suburb is named after this lake.

What's in Gnangara?

Most of Gnangara is like the countryside, with open spaces and farms. Some houses were built here in the early 1990s by Midland Brick. These homes are mainly found around Lakelands Drive.

Gnangara is also home to the Lakelands Country Club. This club has an 18-hole golf course that opened in 1984. It covers a large area of 70 hectares. The Perth International Telecommunications Centre is also located nearby.
