Good Morning, Mickey! was an American animated TV show. It was made by Walt Disney Television Animation. The show first aired on April 18, 1983. This was the very day the Disney Channel started! It was one of the first original shows on the channel. In fact, it was the first program to ever air when the channel launched.

The show featured many classic Disney animated short films. While cartoons starring Mickey Mouse were the main focus, you could also see shorts with Goofy, Donald Duck, Chip 'n' Dale, Pluto, and other beloved characters. When it first started, the show aired at 7 a.m. Eastern/Pacific Time. This made it the first program of The Disney Channel's long programming day. Later, its time changed to 7:30 a.m. ET/PT. A similar show called Donald Duck Presents also aired on The Disney Channel. Good Morning, Mickey! was replaced by Mickey's Mouse Tracks in 1992.

This TV show was released on VHS tapes in the UK. VHS tapes were a popular way to watch movies and shows at home before DVDs and streaming. It was part of a six-volume set. Each tape also included an episode from other Disney shows. These included Welcome to Pooh Corner, The Mouse Factory, Donald Duck Presents, and Mousercise. Each tape had one Disney cartoon short from Good Morning, Mickey!.
