Grace Dove, born on July 25, 1991, is a talented Canadian actress and TV host. She became well-known for her role in the 2015 movie The Revenant. She also played Ricki, a skilled mechanic, in the 2018 film How It Ends. In 2022, Grace starred with Hilary Swank in the TV show Alaska Daily. In this show, they played journalists who helped bring attention to the issue of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls.

Grace Dove's Early Life and School
Grace Dove was born on July 25, 1991. She is from the Secwepemc people, part of the Canim Lake Indian Band. This community is located in the Cariboo region of British Columbia, Canada. Grace grew up in Prince George, British Columbia. She went to Salmon Valley Elementary School and Kelly Road Secondary School there.
Her father was a filmmaker. He often took her to Hollywood when she was a child. After finishing high school, Grace moved to Vancouver. She studied acting at the Vancouver Film School.
Grace Dove's Acting Career
Grace Dove started her career very young. At age ten, she became an on-air reporter. She worked for a children's TV show called Splatterday in Prince George. She also co-hosted a reality adventure show called UnderExposed. In 2012, she appeared in a short film titled These Walls.
Grace went to many auditions after acting school. She finally got a part in The Revenant. She played the unnamed wife of Hugh Glass in the movie. The director, Alejandro González Iñárritu, had a unique audition process. He asked her questions to understand who she was.
Grace described her experience working on The Revenant. She said she had to be very open and ready for anything. She prepared herself physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
