Grae Fernandez was born in Manila, Philippines, on November 7, 2001. He is the older of two sons. His father is the actor Mark Anthony Fernandez. His mother is Melissa Garcia Fernandez. Grae's younger brother is Rudolf Venedictos Garcia Fernandez.
Grae comes from a famous family in the entertainment world. His great-grandfather was the actor Gregorio Fernandez. His grandparents are the action star Rudy Fernandez and actress-politician Alma Moreno. He also has several aunts and uncles who are actors, like Vandolph Quizon and Winwyn Marquez.
Career Highlights
Grae Fernandez first appeared on TV in 2013. It was for a commercial for Jollibee, a popular fast-food chain. Soon after, he made his TV show debut on the ABS-CBN game show Minute To Win It - Junior Edition.
Music Journey
In December 2013, Grae joined the boy group Gimme 5. This band was formed by Star Magic, a talent agency. The group included Nash Aguas, Joaquin Lucas Reyes, Brace Henry Arquiza, and John Emmanuel Bermundo. They first performed on the TV show ASAP.
Gimme 5 released their first album in November 2014. It was a pop-rock album with original songs. Some popular songs from the album were "Pag Kasama Ka" and "Hatid Sundo." The group then went on tour to promote their music.
Acting Roles
In August 2014, Grae started his acting career. He was in an episode of the fantasy-drama show Wansapanataym. This show is known for its magical stories. Later, he played a supporting role in the teen drama TV series Bagito.
Grae also had a special role in the 2015 TV series Bridges of Love. He played a younger version of the character Carlos Antonio. This role showed him as a hopeful high school student. He then joined the cast of the TV series Pangako Sa 'Yo. He played Jonathan "Egoy" Mobido. In this show, he was a love interest for Lia Buenavista.
In August 2015, Grae made his first movie appearance. He was in the hit film The Love Affair. In the movie, he played Timmy, the youngest child of the main characters.
