He was part of a band called The Millennium.
About Graham Salisbury
Graham Salisbury was born in Philadelphia, USA. He grew up in Hawaii, living in a town called Kailua, Oahu. He later went to Hawaii Preparatory Academy in Kamuela, Hawaii.
In the late 1960s, Graham Salisbury was a musician. He was known as Sandy Salisbury. He worked with a music producer named Curt Boettcher. Sandy was a member of two bands: The Millennium and The Ballroom. The Ballroom's album was not released until 2001.
As a musician, he also sang and played on hit songs for other bands. These included The Association and Paul Revere and The Raiders.
The Millennium band released one album called Begin. On this album, Sandy Salisbury played guitar and sang. He also wrote one song called "5 A.M.". Even though the album was expensive to make, it did not sell many copies at first. Later, it became a favorite for fans of "Sunshine Pop" music.
After The Millennium, Sandy Salisbury started a solo music career. He released his own songs. In the early 2000s, his older music was re-released. He also started making music again under the name "Little Johnny Coconut".
Graham Salisbury worked many different jobs before he started writing books for children. In 2014, a movie was made based on his historical novel Under the Blood Red Sun.
Today, he lives with his family in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
