Grayling (which is called Sixno' Xidakagg in the Holikachuk language) is a small city in Alaska, United States. It is located in the Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area. A census area is like a county, but without its own local government.
In 2020, about 210 people lived in Grayling. This city is special because it's a checkpoint for the famous Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. This happens every two years, on odd-numbered years. Dog sled teams stop here after Anvik and before Eagle Island.
