Green Island is located in the northern part of Wisconsin, a state in the United States. It sits within Green Bay, a large arm of Lake Michigan. Lake Michigan is one of the five Great Lakes of North America. The island is officially part of Marinette County, Wisconsin, and falls under the local government of the Town of Peshtigo.
