Professional Football Career
Joining the NFL: Arizona Cardinals
Greg Toler was a very interesting player for NFL teams because he came from a smaller college. In the 2009 NFL draft, he was chosen by the Arizona Cardinals. He was the 131st player picked overall in the fourth round. This made him the first and only player from Saint Paul's College to be drafted into the NFL.
Unfortunately, Greg missed the entire 2011 season. This was because he had a serious injury called a torn ACL in his knee.
Playing for the Indianapolis Colts
On March 12, 2013, Greg signed with the Indianapolis Colts. He continued to play as a cornerback for them. In January 2014, he had another injury. He hurt his groin during a playoff game against the Kansas City Chiefs. This injury meant he could not play for the rest of that season.
Time with the Washington Redskins
After playing for the Colts, Greg Toler signed a one-year contract with the Washington Redskins. He joined the team on April 13, 2016. He played his final NFL season with the Redskins.
