Gregorville is found where two roads meet. These are County Highway P and County Highway S. It is about 5.5 miles (8.8 kilometers) west of a town called Algoma.

How Did Gregorville Get Its Name?

The community of Gregorville was probably named after a man named Frank Gregor. He was a farmer who was born in a country called Bohemia. Frank Gregor was a very old man when he passed away in 1937. He was one of the last people in Wisconsin who had fought in the American Civil War.

The First Post Office

A post office was opened in Gregorville in 1899. This was an important place for people to send and receive letters. The very first person in charge of the post office was Wenzel Zlab.
