Grobbendonk is a town in Belgium. It is located in the province of Antwerp. This area includes the smaller towns of Bouwel and Grobbendonk itself. In 2021, about 11,249 people lived there. The total size of Grobbendonk is about 28.36 square kilometers.
Grobbendonk has its own official flag. It was chosen in 1989. The flag has four parts. Two parts show three green hills with a black raven. The other two parts show three silver fleur-de-lis flowers on a red background.

Who are the Lords of Grobbendonk?
For a long time, the House of Ursel family has been connected to Grobbendonk. They are known as the "lords of Grobbendonk." This means they once owned a special type of land called a heerlijkheid.
In 1545, a man named Erasmus II Schetz owned this land. His grandson, Antonie II Schetz, became the first Baron of Grobbendonk. Later, some of his family members were called Counts of Grobbendonk. One famous person was Duke of Ursel. He was also a hereditary Count of Grobbendonk.
