Grogen Branch is a small stream, about 1.70 mi (2.74 km) long, located in Patrick County, Virginia. It's a "first order" stream, which means it's a very small stream that flows into a larger one. Grogen Branch flows into the Ararat River. This is the only stream with this name in the entire United States.
Where Grogen Branch Starts and Ends
Grogen Branch begins on the southern side of Groundhog Mountain in Patrick County. Its starting point is about 3 miles (4.8 km) southwest of the mountain's peak. From there, Grogen Branch flows south. It eventually joins the Ararat River about 1 mile (1.6 km) northwest of a town called Ararat, Virginia.
