Guaniquilla is a beautiful coastal area, or barrio, located in the town of Aguada, Puerto Rico. It's a part of the larger Aguada municipality. In 2010, about 2,663 people lived here. Guaniquilla is known for its lovely beaches and natural spots.

Discover Guaniquilla's Natural Features
Guaniquilla is home to some cool natural places. You can visit Pico de Piedra beach, which is a popular spot. The Guayabo River also flows through this area. Every year, around June 24th, Guaniquilla hosts a fun festival. It's a great time for everyone to celebrate!
A Look at Guaniquilla's Past
Puerto Rico, including Guaniquilla, became a territory of the United States after the Spanish–American War. This happened because of a special agreement called the Treaty of Paris of 1898.
In 1899, the United States government counted the people living in Puerto Rico. They found that Guaniquilla, along with two other areas (Rosario and California), had a total population of 1,135 people. Over the years, the number of people living in Guaniquilla has changed:
