Gudrun Margarete Elfriede Emma Anna Burwitz (born Himmler; 8 August 1929 – 24 May 2018) was the daughter of Heinrich Himmler. Her father was a very powerful leader in the Nazi Party during World War II. He was known as Reichsführer-SS.
After the war, Gudrun and her mother were arrested by American forces. They were held in different camps in Italy, France, and Germany. They also went to Nuremberg to give evidence at the Nuremberg trials. They were set free in November 1946. Gudrun never stopped believing in Nazi ideas. She often tried to explain her father's actions.

Gudrun Himmler was born on 8 August 1929 in Munich, Germany. Her father was Heinrich Himmler. He became one of the most powerful people in the Nazi Party. Her mother was Margarete Himmler. Gudrun was their only child.
After World War II
After Germany lost World War II, Gudrun and her mother were taken into custody. They were held in various places. They were later released in 1946. Even after the war, Gudrun continued to support the ideas of the Nazi Party. She spent her life trying to defend her father's actions.
Later Life and Activities
Gudrun married Wulf Dieter Burwitz. He was involved with the NPD. This party is known for its extreme views. They had two children together.
Gudrun was also connected to an organization called Stille Hilfe. This name means "Silent Aid." This group was formed to help former members of the SS. The SS was a large and powerful Nazi organization.
From 1961 to 1963, Gudrun worked as a secretary. She used a different name during this time. She worked for West Germany's intelligence agency. This agency is called the Federal Intelligence Service (BND). Her office was in Pullach.
Her Final Years
Gudrun Burwitz passed away on 24 May 2018. She was 88 years old. She died at her home near Munich, Germany.
