Guillaume Vuilletet (born July 20, 1967) is a French politician. He has been a Member of the National Assembly for the 2nd area of Val-d'Oise since 2017. He belongs to the La République En Marche! (LREM) political party. Before this, he was part of the Regional Council of Île-de-France.
Vuilletet was a member of the Europe Ecology – The Greens (EELV) party from 2010 to 2015. He then helped start the Ecologist Party with François de Rugy. He is currently the secretary-general of this party. Both he and de Rugy supported Emmanuel Macron in the 2017 French presidential election.
In the 2017 French legislative elections, Vuilletet was chosen by LREM to run in Val-d'Oise. He was elected as a deputy for the 2nd area of the department.

What Guillaume Vuilletet Does
His Work Before Politics
From 2009 to 2017, Guillaume Vuilletet worked as an independent consultant. He focused on developing areas, especially helping with housing issues.
Starting His Political Journey
Vuilletet began his political career in 1988. He worked as an assistant for a member of parliament until 1993. From 1995 to 1999, he was the chief of staff for the mayor of Le Kremlin-Bicêtre.
Later, he advised the Minister of the Interior, Jean-Pierre Chevènement. He also helped manage Chevènement's campaign for the 2002 French presidential election. In his role as an advisor, Vuilletet helped create new laws. These included a law about foreigners entering France and their right to seek safety. He also worked on a law to improve how local communities work together.
From 2003 to 2005, Vuilletet worked for the Economic and Social Committee. He wrote a report comparing how different countries handle international students. This study looked at why students come and how they are helped.
Serving the Île-de-France Region
From 2004 to 2015, Vuilletet was a regional councillor for Île-de-France. This region includes Paris. He served on committees for culture, technology, international relations, and regional development.
He also led the Regional Agency for Territories and the Information Society in Île-de-France. He participated in many meetings about digital technology and regional growth in France. Vuilletet was also a vice-president for the Hubertine Auclair Centre. This group works to promote equality between genders in Île-de-France. He also held a vice-president role for the regional tourism committee.
After his time as a regional councillor, Vuilletet became a deputy mayor of Méry-sur-Oise. From 2008 to 2014, he was in charge of city planning, tourism, and local businesses.
His Political Parties
Vuilletet joined the Europe Ecology – The Greens (EELV) party in 2010. However, he left in 2015 to help start the Ecologist Party. He co-founded this new party with François de Rugy. This party was part of a larger group called the Union of Democrats and Ecologists (UDE). Vuilletet became the secretary-general of the new Ecologist Party.
In the 2017 French presidential election, Vuilletet and de Rugy supported Emmanuel Macron. For the 2017 French legislative elections, Macron's La République En Marche! party chose Vuilletet to run. He ran in the 2nd area of Val-d'Oise, which includes parts of Cergy. On June 18, 2017, he won the election. He defeated the person who held the seat before him, Axel Poniatowski.

Since June 29, 2017, Vuilletet has been a member of the Office of the National Assembly. This office is led by de Rugy. He is also part of the Office of the Committee on Constitutional Laws. This committee deals with laws about the constitution and how the government runs. He is also a member of the Law Committee.
