Gustavo Lino Adrianzén Olaya, born on October 25, 1966, is a Peruvian lawyer and politician. He served as the Prime Minister of Peru from March 2024 to May 2025. Before that, he was Peru's representative to the Organization of American States (OAS) from 2023 to 2024. He also served as the Minister of Justice and Human Rights in 2015.

Education and Learning

Gustavo Adrianzén studied law at the University of Lima. He continued his studies at the University of Alcalá de Henares in Spain. He focused on Human Rights in different places like Geneva and Florence. He also earned a master's degree in Public Administration and Management.

Political Journey

Early Roles in Government

Adrianzén started his political career in 2015. He was first appointed as the Deputy Minister of Justice and Human Rights. Just two weeks later, on April 2, he became the Minister of Justice and Human Rights. He took over this role from Fredy Otárola. He left this position in October 2015.

Representing Peru at the OAS

On February 23, 2023, President Dina Boluarte appointed him as Peru's permanent representative to the Organization of American States (OAS). In this role, he shared Peru's strong support for the values of the OAS. He resigned from this position in March 2024.

Becoming Prime Minister

On March 6, 2024, Gustavo Adrianzén was sworn in as the Prime Minister of Peru. He took over from Alberto Otárola. Adrianzén served as Prime Minister until May 13, 2025, when he resigned.
