Haßberge is a special area, called a Landkreis (which means district), located in the state of Bavaria, Germany. It's a place where many towns and villages come together to form one larger administrative area.
This district was created in 1972. Before that, it was made up of three smaller districts: Haßfurt, Ebern, and Hofheim. They all joined together to form the Haßberge district we know today.
