Media and Broadcasting
Hadley is part of the Bowling Green media market, which means it receives television and radio signals from that area. Today, Hadley is home to the tall transmission tower for Kentucky Educational Television station WKGB-TV. It also hosts the tower for NPR radio station WKYU-FM and the NOAA Weather Radio station KIH45, which provides weather alerts.
From 1962 to 1971, Hadley was also where the transmission tower for a commercial television station called WLTV (channel 13) was located. This station is now known as WBKO. WLTV also had its studios in the Hadley area for many years. However, after it became connected with the American Broadcasting Company in March 1967, the studios moved to downtown Bowling Green.
Hadley's Post Office
Hadley used to have its own post office, which served the community from 1860 until 1994. When ZIP codes were first introduced in July 1963, Hadley's post office was given the ZIP code 42235.
