Hall Park is a neighborhood found in Norman, Oklahoma. It used to be a small town in Cleveland County, Oklahoma, in the Oklahoma City area. The town started in the 1960s. It was named after its founder, Ike Hall.

In the year 2000, about 1,088 people lived there. Hall Park was special because it was Oklahoma's first "all-electric" town. This meant everything ran on electricity. Ronald Reagan, who later became president, visited Hall Park when it first opened. He was working for General Electric at the time. He was even made an honorary mayor!

Hall Park was also unique because it had many shared backyards. This created lots of public space for everyone to enjoy.

Why Hall Park Changed

Over time, Hall Park faced some challenges. One big problem was with its water supply. In 2001, new rules were made about arsenic in drinking water. Hall Park's water sources did not meet these new safety rules.

Because of these water issues, Hall Park joined the city of Norman in 2003. It stopped being its own town. Instead, it became a group of housing areas within Norman. Ike Hall's daughter bought the old Hall Park water tower. It now sits in her yard as a reminder of the town's past.
