Hank Zipzer is a fun British TV show for kids aged 12-15. It's about a 12-year-old boy named Hank who has dyslexia. This means his brain works a bit differently when it comes to reading and writing. The show is based on a series of books written by Henry Winkler, who you might know as "The Fonz" from Happy Days! Henry Winkler also stars in the show as Mr. Rock, Hank's awesome music teacher.
The first series of Hank Zipzer started in January 2014 on the CBBC channel. Even though the books are set in the United States, the TV show takes place in London, United Kingdom. The second series began in August 2015, and the third series started in May 2016. Later in 2016, there was even a special Christmas movie! In 2017, the actor who plays Hank's dad, Neil Fitzmaurice, said there wouldn't be any more new series.

Hank's Adventures
The show follows the funny and sometimes tricky adventures of Hank Zipzer. He's a 12-year-old schoolboy living in London. Hank has dyslexia, which means he often finds school subjects like reading and writing quite challenging.
Hank has two best friends, Frankie and Ashley, who are always there for him. His main rival at school is Nick McKelty. The show is based on Henry Winkler's Hank Zipzer books. These books are inspired by Winkler's own experiences growing up with dyslexia. In the show, Henry Winkler plays Mr. Rock, Hank's favorite teacher. Mr. Rock is based on Winkler's own music teacher, who was a big help to him. In the second series, Javone Prince joined the cast as Mr. Joy.
