Hardie Hunter Albright was an American actor. He was born on December 16, 1903, in Charleroi, Pennsylvania. He became known for his roles in many films and later taught acting. He even voiced the teenage Bambi in the classic Disney movie!

Early Life and Education
Hardie Albright was born on December 16, 1903. His parents were traveling performers who put on shows called vaudeville. He started acting in their shows when he was just seven years old.
In 1926, Hardie graduated from Carnegie Tech. He earned a special degree in drama, which helped him become a professional actor.
Acting Career
Hardie Albright gained acting experience in a special group called a repertory company. This meant he performed in many different plays with the same group of actors. His first big show on Broadway was Saturday Night in 1926.
A talent scout from Fox Company saw him perform. They offered him a contract, and he moved to Hollywood. Hardie made his first movie in 1931. It was called Young Sinners. He appeared in many other films after that.
One of his most famous roles was not seen, but heard! He provided the voice for the teenage Bambi in the Disney animated film. This was a special role, even though he was not officially credited.
After World War II, Hardie stopped acting in movies. He decided to become a drama teacher instead. He taught at the UCLA. While teaching, he also wrote several books about acting and directing.
In the 1960s, Hardie made many guest appearances on popular television shows. You might know some of them, like Hazel, Leave It to Beaver, Bewitched, and Gunsmoke.
Personal Life
In 1934, Hardie Albright married an actress named Martha Sleeper. They later divorced in 1939. In 1944, he married another actress, Arnita Wallace. They stayed married until he passed away.
Death
Hardie Albright died on December 7, 1975. He was 71 years old. He passed away from heart failure in Mission Viejo, California. His ashes were spread at a special place he loved in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
