Harmon Valley is a small community in northern Alberta, Canada. It is an "unincorporated community," which means it does not have its own local government. Instead, it is managed by a larger area called Northern Sunrise County.

The community got its name from Daniel Harmon. He was a fur trader, someone who bought and sold animal furs. Fur trading was a very important business in early Canadian history.

Harmon Valley is also known for its fun events. The Harmon Valley Fair Grounds hosts the exciting Harmon Valley Quad Rally. This is a popular event where people race all-terrain vehicles (ATVs).

How Harmon Valley is Governed

As an unincorporated community, Harmon Valley is looked after by Northern Sunrise County. The county council makes decisions for the area.
