Nampa is a small village located in northern Alberta, Canada. It is about 27 kilometres (17 mi) south of the Town of Peace River along Highway 2. The Heart River flows across Highway 2 just north of the village. A railway owned by Canadian National Railway also runs through Nampa. The name "Nampa" comes from an Indigenous word meaning 'the Place'.

Agriculture and Food Processing
- Grain Terminals: Great Northern Grain Terminals is a private company started in 1986. It has a very large grain storage facility in Nampa.
- Hay Processing: The Peace River Timothy Processing Plant prepares timothy hay. They grow, harvest, bale, and dry the hay. Then they press it twice to make it smaller for shipping. This special hay is sent to countries in Asia, like Japan.
