Harri Heliövaara, born on June 4, 1989, is a talented professional tennis player from Finland. He is especially good at doubles tennis, where two players team up. Harri reached the very top of the doubles world, becoming the number one player in the ATP rankings on June 8, 2026.
He has won four major tennis championships, called Grand Slams. He won the men's doubles title at Wimbledon in 2024 and again in 2026. He also won the Australian Open in 2025, playing with his partner Henry Patten. In 2023, Harri won the US Open in mixed doubles with Anna Danilina.
Harri has won many other tournaments too, with 17 doubles titles on the ATP Tour. He even won a junior Grand Slam title in 2007 at the Australian Open. After a short break from tennis, he returned to the sport in 2017 and has been achieving great success ever since!

Harri's Life Off the Court
During his break from tennis between 2014 and 2017, Harri worked in other jobs. He even had an office job at Helsinki Airport. This is where he met his wife, Sini. They now have two children, a daughter and a son. Harri still enjoys practicing tennis at his local club in Helsinki. He also played an important role in 2023, helping to advise other tennis players through the ATP Player Advisory Council.

2021: First Big Wins and Wimbledon Debut
In 2021, Harri Heliövaara started winning big on the ATP Tour. He won his first doubles title in March with his partner Lloyd Glasspool. Later that year, he won another title with Dutch player Matwé Middelkoop. He also reached the third round at Wimbledon for the first time.
2022: Reaching New Heights in Doubles
Harri and Lloyd Glasspool continued their strong partnership in 2022. They reached several finals and started climbing the world rankings. They made it to the quarterfinals of a major tournament, the 2022 French Open, for the first time. This helped Harri enter the top 40 doubles players. They also won a big ATP 500 title at the 2022 Hamburg European Open. By the end of the year, they qualified for the 2022 ATP Finals, a special tournament for the best teams.
2023: A Grand Slam Mixed Doubles Title
Harri started 2023 by winning another title with Lloyd Glasspool in Adelaide. He also reached the top 10 in the world rankings! A very exciting moment came at the US Open. Harri teamed up with Anna Danilina for mixed doubles and they won the entire tournament! This was his first Grand Slam title.
2024: Wimbledon Champion!

2025: Australian and ATP Finals Champion
Harri and Henry Patten continued their amazing journey in 2025. They won the Australian Open men's doubles title, which was Harri's second Grand Slam in men's doubles. This made him the first Finnish player to win multiple major championships in men's doubles. They also had a fantastic run at the ATP Finals, winning the championship there! Harri even recorded his 200th career win during this successful year.
2026: World Number One and Second Wimbledon Title
The year 2026 was truly historic for Harri Heliövaara. He and Henry Patten started strong, winning three titles early in the season. They reached the final of the French Open. On June 8, 2026, Harri achieved his dream: he became the joint world number one in doubles tennis! Later that year, they won Wimbledon again, claiming their second title at this prestigious event and their third major championship as a team.
