Harrison Page is an American actor. He has been in many popular TV shows and movies. His career started in 1968 and he is still acting today.
He is a member of The Actors Studio, a famous place where actors train. Harrison Page is best known for playing Captain Trunk. This was a funny, sometimes grumpy, police captain in the 1980s TV show Sledge Hammer!.
Early TV Roles
Harrison Page was a regular on the TV show C.P.O. Sharkey. In this show, he acted alongside the famous comedian Don Rickles. In 1977, something funny happened while they were filming. Johnny Carson, who hosted The Tonight Show, suddenly walked in. He jokingly scolded Don Rickles for breaking his cigarette box. This moment became a classic part of TV history.
Page also appeared in many other well-known TV series. These include ER, Ally McBeal, Quantum Leap, and The Wonder Years. He was also seen in 21 Jump Street, Murder, She Wrote, and The Dukes of Hazzard.
