Hasbullah bin Osman (born February 17, 1957 – died November 16, 2020) was a Malaysian politician. He held important roles in the government. He was the Chairman of Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad (SPNB) for a short time in 2020. Before that, he was a Member of Parliament (MP) for the area of Gerik from 2013 until his death. He also served as a Member of the Perak State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Temenggor from 2004 to 2013. He was a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) political party.

A Life in Public Service
Hasbullah Osman dedicated many years to serving the people of Malaysia. He started his career as a teacher. This background likely helped him understand the needs of his community.
Becoming a State Representative
In 2004, Hasbullah was elected as a Member of the Perak State Legislative Assembly. This meant he represented the people of Temenggor in the state government. He worked to make laws and decisions that would help his local area. He served in this role for almost ten years.
Serving in the Malaysian Parliament
In 2013, Hasbullah was elected to the Dewan Rakyat, which is part of the Parliament of Malaysia. This made him a Member of Parliament (MP) for the Gerik area. As an MP, he worked on national issues and represented his constituents at a higher level of government. He continued in this role until his passing in 2020.
Leading a Housing Company
In May 2020, Hasbullah took on another important role. He became the Chairman of Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad (SPNB). This company focuses on providing housing for people in Malaysia. His role was to lead the company and help ensure more people had access to homes.

His Passing
On November 16, 2020, Hasbullah Osman sadly passed away. He was 63 years old at the time. He died from a heart attack. His passing was a loss to the political community and the people he served.
