History of Hastings
Hastings began in 1872. This happened after the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad built its tracks through the area. The railroad helped the town grow.
Geography of Hastings
Hastings is located at 41°1′26″N 95°29′50″W / 41.02389°N 95.49722°W. This spot is in the southwestern part of Iowa.
