Haylie Katherine Duff (born February 19, 1985) is an American actress and singer. She is famous for her roles in TV shows like 7th Heaven (as Sandy Jameson) and Lizzie McGuire (as Amy Sanders). She also played Summer Wheatly in the movie Napoleon Dynamite. Haylie loves cooking and had her own cooking show called The Real Girl's Kitchen in 2014. She is the older sister of actress and singer Hilary Duff.

Haylie Duff was born in Houston, Texas. Her mother, Susan Colleen Duff, is a film producer. She helped make movies like A Cinderella Story and Material Girls. Haylie's father, Robert Erhard "Bob" Duff, is a businessman.
Haylie started acting because she loved to dance. She began ballet when she was very young. By age eight, she performed in a show called The Nutcracker Suite with the Houston Metropolitan Dance Company.

Haylie Duff's acting career began with small parts on TV. She appeared in shows like The Amanda Show, Chicago Hope, and Boston Public. In late 2002, she became well-known as Amy Sanders on Lizzie McGuire. In 2004, she was a guest star on That's So Raven.
Her first big movie role was as Summer Wheatly in Napoleon Dynamite. This movie helped her win a Teen Choice Award. She also lent her voice to the animated Christmas movie In Search of Santa, which also featured her sister Hilary. In 2005, Haylie joined the TV series 7th Heaven as Sandy Jameson.
In 2006, Haylie performed on Broadway in the musical Hairspray. She played the character Amber Von Tussle. She also starred with her sister Hilary in the movie Material Girls. Haylie was also a co-producer for this film.
From 2008 to 2015, Haylie appeared in many films and TV shows. These included Fear Island, Tug, and Slightly Single in L.A.. She also voiced a character in the animated movie Foodfight!. Haylie hosted a reality show called Legally Blonde: The Musical – The Search for Elle Woods. This show looked for a new actress to play the main role in the Legally Blonde: The Musical.

Haylie has also written songs for her sister Hilary. She helped write songs for Hilary's albums Metamorphosis and Hilary Duff. She even whistled on Hilary’s song "Sparks".
Haylie planned to release her own album called Walk the Walk in 2008. It was going to include songs like "Holiday" and "Faded". However, the album was never released. The song "Holiday" was later recorded by Hilary Duff for her Best of Hilary Duff album.
