Growing Programs and Research
In January 2009, Paul Crawford became the first Professor of Health Humanities at the University of Nottingham. He helped create a big network for health humanities research.
Since then, many universities have started programs in health humanities. These include bachelor's and master's degrees in places like the US, Canada, and the UK. For example, University College London opened a Health Humanities Centre in 2015. The University of Edinburgh also started a Master of Science program in 2020.
