Hecuba facts for kids
Hecuba (also called Hekuba or Hekabe) was a very important queen in Greek mythology. She was the wife of King Priam of Troy, a famous city from ancient times. Hecuba was known for her strength and sorrow, especially during and after the terrible Trojan War.

Hecuba and the Trojan War

After the city of Troy was finally defeated by the Greeks, Hecuba's life changed completely. She was no longer a queen. Instead, she was taken captive and forced to serve Odysseus, one of the Greek heroes who fought in the war. Her story is one of great sadness and loss, showing the harsh consequences of war.
