Henrik Holm was a professional tennis player from Sweden. He was born on August 22, 1968. Henrik started his professional tennis career in 1988. He played with his right hand and used a two-handed backhand shot.
Henrik became very good at doubles tennis, winning five titles. He also reached a high rank in singles, becoming world No. 17 in July 1993. This was a great achievement for him!

Henrik Holm's Tennis Journey
Henrik Holm began playing tennis when he was just five years old. Tennis was a big part of his family. His father, Christer Holm, played for Sweden in the Davis Cup. He was even ranked No. 2 in Sweden in the 1960s. Henrik's mother, Gun, was also a tennis coach.
In July 1992, Henrik reached his first big singles final in Washington, D.C. He played against Petr Korda but lost the match. Later that year, he made it to another final in Tokyo, where he lost to Ivan Lendl. During that tournament, Henrik had an amazing win against Boris Becker, beating him 6–1, 6–2. This was one of Becker's biggest losses indoors!

Henrik Holm reached two singles finals during his career on the main ATP Tour. He played very well to get there, but he didn't win either of those final matches.
