Hiroaki Namba (難波 宏明, Namba Hiroaki, born December 9, 1982) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a forward, scoring many goals for different teams during his career.

Starting His Football Journey
Hiroaki Namba was born in Okayama, Japan. After finishing high school, he joined a top Japanese football team, Vissel Kobe, in 2001. However, he did not get to play in any matches for them.
In 2002, he moved to Tochigi SC, a team in the Japan Football League. He played in many games that year. But after just one season, he left the club. He then went to Ryutsu Keizai University in 2003 to continue his studies and play football.
Playing for Yokohama FC
In 2006, Namba joined Yokohama FC, a team in the J2 League. On September 27, he played his first game in the J.League. He came in as a substitute forward against Vegalta Sendai and even scored a goal in that match!
Even though he only played in that one game during the 2006 season, Yokohama FC had a great year. They won the championship and were promoted to the J1 League for the first time ever.
In 2007, Namba played in many games at the start of the season. But as the year went on, he played less often. Unfortunately, Yokohama FC finished last in the J1 League and was sent back down to J2 after just one year.
From 2008 to 2011, Namba became a regular player for Yokohama FC. He played in many matches during these years. However, in 2012, he didn't get to play as much.
Later Career and Retirement
In 2013, Hiroaki Namba moved to Mito HollyHock and continued to play in many games. The next year, in 2014, he joined FC Gifu.
Even though FC Gifu's team results were not always good, Namba played a lot as a forward for many years. He was a key player for them. He finally retired from professional football at the end of the 2018 season.
